Better later than never! Egypt post!

It's been a while since I last time wrote a post & I'm sorry for being absent! It was a really good & busy summer! Of corse that's not an excuse, but today I'm back & fainally writting about my trip to Egypt, more specific to Hurghada.

I guess lots of people, especially for the last few years, don't want to travel to Egypt for safety reasons, but today I'm here telling you that people in Egypt are very nice & friendly! You have nothing to worry about as long as you don't walk into a dark street away from a main road... I mean they might want to steal with a trick your money or something, but remember only in the dark streets which are located away from the main streets (on the main road are all the shops & bazaars), but that can happen to you in any other country too. People are really nice & I recomend it for you to see it!

Egypt is known for it's rich history ( Luxor, Kairo,..) & mostly sightseeing these places is good if you're staying in Egypt between October & Aprile, because it's not that hot yet there. However pyramids are not the only thing to see & experience in Egypt!!! Kiting, surfing & diving are just another fun things to do in Egypt!! I went to this lovely trip with a boat where we were diving all day long! It's a must do thing there , because their corals, fishes & other animals are so interesting to see. So yes if you love active holidays Egypt is definitely for you!

Egypt has become through years touristic & has many beutiful hotels to offer. However, you have to know that most of the hotels are a 4 or 5 stars hotels, but accorindg to their standards. In result there might be a hotel which has 5 stars, but it's not really a 5 star hotel according to our standards. So what I suggest is that you choose a 5 star hotel, because it will be at least 4 star hotel in reallity, meanwhile a 3 star hotel might be very disappointing.

Transport in Egypt is crazy! So if you're not a native there don't drive there! Rather take a taxi which are not expensive or their local busses which are so cheap! If you don't feel comfortable enough going on your own to the city just ask some other people you meet in the hotel if they want to go with you to the city & the feeling is definitely better! ;)

London tips

Sorry for not posting for such a long time this post about London, i have a lot of things going on right now, so I haven't found a proper time for writting it.
As I mentioned in the previouse post I've been to London and I want to make this post about the little tricks and things which might help you to get around London and even save some cash.

1.Oyster card -> Buy a 7 day travel card. When you buy it ( it can be bought at every underground station, and also in some little stores around London.) they will charge you a fee of 5 pounds which you'll get back if you return it at the end of your trip, otherways you can save it for you next trip to London. Or if you do not want to pay that extra fee simply ask your friends who were already in London if they can lend you.

2. Book a hotel/hostel in the zone 1 or 2 it will be cheaper than driving everyday from other zones which also means loosing time. (Easy Hotel is also a really good option for a really good price)

3. Eating in London can be pretty expensive and so you can eat either in McDonald's, Pret A Manger, Subway,...etc . which are much more cheaper than eating in a restaurant. Also it's cheaper if you take your food with you than eating in restaurant.

4. Make a plan what do you want to see and when you get to London everyday just check which things are closer and go see them all at once, you will save time.

5. Tube for some people it's confusing, but i really couldn't imagine a faster way to get around town, although it's true you don't see much but everytime you get lost just find the nearest tube station and find on a map where do you want to go.
The buses or so called double deckers are also a lot of fun! You can see London from another perspective.
However I want to tell you more about the tube, as I said many people find it confusing, but all that you have to know is only where you're getting on a tube and your exit. Than the next step is to find a line which will take you there and once on the tube station follow the directions which are showing you your line and at the end of your way there always for one line ex. Picadilly Line gets in two directions and here you have to know where you're getting of the tube, from there simply follow the directions where your final destination is written.

for example:  You're located Covent Garden tube station and you want to get to Picadilly Circus.
1. Picadilly line will take you there.
2. chech the last station of Picadilly line in direction you're heading Terminal 5 or Amersham.
3. Follow on tube station the directions for Picadilly line. Eventually there will be shown two directions for Picadilly line, yours it's towar Terminal 5 or Amersham, not towards Cockfosters. At that point there is a list of all the stops for each way that tube goes and just follow the direction where your exit is written or the final exit in the line.

p.s. Coachella inspired post is coming up soon!:)

Traveling around the globe

Just like I promised here it is my very first post about traveling. Ever since I was a little girl I knew I can't stay for too long at one place and that someday I'm going to see the world!

I don't know where this desire for traveling came exactly from, but what I know is that I have to thank to my grandmother who would take me every year to a new destination, and even though it would be not that far she thought me a lot and she still does. On the other side she traveled a lot when I was still a kid, she went to India, Bali, Australia,..etc. And I fell in love with traveling most likely because of her. I was still very young when I noticed that where ever I go I like the place and in most cases I want to come back... That's why I have this one simple rule: To see the world first and than going back to all these places that I liked the most. This far Im pretty good at keeping it this way, except for London, where I've been once and I'm returning back in two weeks (happy kid).
The thing is that I've been mostly around Europe since I'm from Slovenia, and once to Africa but I really want to go explore this world further from Europe, so I decided this year I'm definitely  going out of my comfort zone and try new things that are far from cozy Europe.

On one hand I would like to travel to big cities and places that are mostly known for being big cities, being cosmopolitan and for fast life, not that different from what I've known my whole life, for example New York, Tokio, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Las Vegas,... and on the other hand I love those exotic places, that not many see like Mexico, India, Sri Lanka, Bali, Combodia, Thailand, Cuba, Peru,... they offer you an amazing opportunity to get to know better different cultures and learn a lot about life and yourself.
So expect on this blog also travel posts and not only about fashion. The one about London will be up when I'm back.:)
